I know you probably have a ton of questions when it comes to having a website built for your business. Hopefully, this list will answer most of your questions. Of course, feel free to contact me if there’s anything I can answer for you.

Once we begin, the process for a custom website design can take from 8-12 weeks. Much of that time is dependent on how much research needs to be done and who you currently have working on your team.

Book Me For a Day clients can have a nearly completed website by the end of their work day.

Yes, your website will be responsive, meaning it will adapt to the screen it is being viewed on.

If you know who you will be using for copy, that is fantastic, but if you prefer to handle your own copy, I am a great option for brainstorming and editing. I will provide a framework that you can complete on your own or we can complete together for a fee.

All websites include on-page SEO, but it’s important to remember that SEO is a content driven, long-range process and needs to be considered in the initial phase of your website. We can discuss your options and ensure the best possible outcome for your project and budget.

I work with clients in their own hosting accounts but I also provide hosting as part of my care plans. Hosting is a very important part of keeping your website safe and functioning well. I am happy to help you find the best option for you and your new website.

Absolutely! I want to ensure that you are confident in making small changes and keeping your website fresh. I provide video tutorials as well as a training session for you or a staff member.

I do offer a website care plan for clients at an additional monthly or quarterly fee. These packages can be found here.

The payment process depends on the type of site we’re building for you. For custom design websites, the payment schedule is as follows: a 50% deposit is required to hold your spot in my schedule. A second payment of 25% is due in four (4) weeks and the final 25% payment is due in another four (4) week period, or upon completion of the initial scope of work, prior to the website being delivered. Payment can be made by credit card or ACH. It’s important to note that ACH payments take longer to process and the website will not be launched until the payment has cleared.

I design sites in WordPress. I understand that WordPress might not be the best route for all businesses and I have built websites on other platforms and know the power of WordPress. If you know the route you prefer, you’re a step ahead. Otherwise, during our initial strategy session, we discuss the options and come up with a solution based on your needs and projected business growth.

This is never an easy answer because it can vary and I offer various options for business owners to get a professional website launched. Custom website design starts at $4,200.00 and my Book Me For a Day service starts at $1,500.00. Each option is designed to help business owners at any level get a professional, responsive website.

While there are variables in the process, most custom websites are delivered in a 7- to 9-week timeframe. Some sites can be delivered sooner while more in-depth sites can take a bit longer.

My process includes scheduled follow up conversations which we determine at the start of the project. These calls are held via Zoom and will be recorded. They normally occur during the kick-off and then every other week after.

If you need to contact me outside of the scheduled calls, I am happy to have brief conversations to answer any questions. My office hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

I provide phone and email support for clients on care plans and all website design projects. However, I may not be immediately available to respond if I am in a meeting or in a focused work session. I respond to messages as soon as I can.

All support requests require a 48 hour turn-around time at a minimum. If you see a larger project in the pipeline, it is best to let me know as soon as possible so I can reserve some time to help you get it done.

Like copywriting, logo design and collateral material are not included in any of my packages. These services can be added on to any contract at an additional expense.

If you’re ready and haven’t yet scheduled a time for us to chat, you can do that right here. Coffee Chats are held via Zoom, a video-based meeting tool, and last about 20 minutes. If you prefer to hop on the phone, that’s okay too.
